While doing so, he attended and graduated from UALR in 2022 with a bachelor's in construction. Alex credits his parents for his drive and love of construction. His father coached and raised him around construction sites teaching him the value of work ethic while his mother taught him compassion, integrity, and patience. Now, Alex brings those same qualities and characteristics on this new journey.

Growing up, Alex always loved working in his family’s framing business. He developed a desire to create and design homes at an early age, inspired by his father, Armando Ibarra, who has been a residential framing subcontractor for 20 years. It was he, who taught Alex many skills and valuable knowledge about framing and the home building process. 

Alex started out as a clean-up worker on projects for his family's business as a kid. With more involvement and growth, he later became a carpenter for his father. At the age of 21, he was blessed with an opportunity to become a production supervisor for a roofing company in his home town of Bryant. After gaining new management knowledge, he later on returned to his family's business to help manage his father’s projects.
